Annual Supplier Conference for a division of one of the world’s largest energy companies

Our challenge was to find a venue in Southern Europe for 500 delegates, with 500sqm of space for supplier exhibition stands and 10-12 breakout rooms. The venue needed to be close to a major transport hub as delegates would be arriving from all over the world.

From our delivered options, the client chose Blau Porto Petro in Mallorca. The venue offered a hi-tech, 500 seat auditorium with adjoining exhibition space and 10 breakout rooms. Other choice factors were the number of varied dining options (indoor and outdoor), great weather and stunning views. We also organised two external gala dinners and a range of teambuilding activities and this has since become an annual event.

Leading Payments Service Provider (Financial Technology) Senior Management Meeting

The challenge was to source a unique, secluded alpine mountain retreat for a senior leadership three-day team event for 50 senior managers from across the globe. The venue needed to provide a fine balance between hi-tech AV capability and the unspoilt charm and beauty of the Alps.

The client chose Les Fermes de Marie in Megeve. With great transport links to Geneva, plus short flight and a transfer time of 45 mins, this was a stunning and very picturesque hideaway.

Annual Christmas party, for a leading London based technology company.

This client had a specific request for a dinner, dance floor and bar for 300 attendees to be contained in a single large area to avoid segregation and to maintain the flow of the evening. Accommodation for 200 guests also needed to be in the same venue.

From our recommendations, the client chose the famous Grand Hotel in Brighton. With a resort feel and good transport links from the company’s main base in London, delegates could stay on and make a weekend of it. The elegance and grand design of the hotel had the ‘wow factor’ that the client wanted.

Strategic ‘kick-off’ event for a London based Hedge Fund:

We recommended and the client chose Iceland as the location. They wanted somewhere out of the ordinary, secluded and with a natural, geological environment for a four-day meeting and incentive event for 100 people.

The main base was Hotel Ranga and we worked closely with a Nordic based DMC who organised Hummer pick-ups on arrival, a traditional Icelandic dance troupe at the base of a glacier, plus outdoor dinners on remote islands, where delegates arrived via a RIB ride.

We also organized a dinner in a remote mountain camp set-up with a traditional Icelandic ‘Strong Man’ competition for delegates. Two of the world’s strongest men were there to show how it was done!
